Reading Festival 2010

SPINNERETE is the sound of a black leather glove holding a lollipop stick and shoving it into crushed glass before offering you the first lick. Led by former Distillers front woman Brody Dalle, her new band has been described as ‘feral stuff’ by The Sunday Times whilst Dalle herself has described her new band as “what happens when I let the tap flow”. Debut UK shows saw sold out crowds and feverish excitement so expect more of the same when the band take to the twin stages over the weekend.
